Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture covers modern electorchemical detection methods, especially

voltammetry/polarography. Aside of applications, also the

physicochemical basics, such as electrochemical conversion, limiting

currents, ... Furthermore, the lecture discusses different modern

methods, such as e.g. cyclovoltammetry, polarography, etc. Further

topics include amperometry, coulometry and the application of all these

strategies in modern analytical systems and sensors.

Assessment and permitted materials

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Knowledge of modern electroanalytical methods and fundamental

understanding of the underlying physico-chemical phenomena.
