Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture deals with biopharmaceuticals and fine chemicals produced by biotechnological processes (antibiotics, recombinant proteins, monoclonoal antibodies, plasmids, etc.). Part of the lecture are generell processes of production and in particular separation methods employed in the course of downstream processing (biochromatographic methods of purification). Moreover, analytical aspects of major relevance for the quality control and process analysis will be discussed as well.

Assessment and permitted materials
