Aims, contents and method of the course

Several types of transition metal catalyzed reactions like hydrogenation, carbonylation, oligo- and polymerazion, are discussed with emphasys on mechnistic aspects. Their widerspread application is illustrated by typical examples, particularly those which play an important role in industry today.
