Aims, contents and method of the course
Principles of RNA and DNA structure. Prediction of RNA secondary structures, energy models, pseudo-knots, folding kinetics, RNA alignment and homology search, genome wide searches for noncoding RNA genes; tertiary structure prediction.
Assessment and permitted materials
Oral Exam
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
To obtain a positive grade, at least half of the exam questions have to be answered correctly.
