    Aims, contents and method of the course

    Selectes aspects of the lecture 'Allgemeine Chemie A' are reflected focusing on their educational relevance and feasibility in School.
    Reflection of your own conceps of basic subject Areas.
    Insight into the challenges of chemistry teaching and learning.
    Linking and enriching subject content knowledge with didactical knowledge.
    First steps to develop an appropriate professional content knowledge for chemistry teaching.

    Assessment and permitted materials

    Regular and active attendance, accomplishing defined tasks durig the course.
    Written reflection ot the first session
    Well prepared presentation in small groupes incl. handouts
    Final paper (max. 3-4 pages, Arial 11, line spacing 1,5)

    Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

    Regular and active attendance, submitting the required contributions on time.
    The course can only be completed successfully if the final paper is assessed positive.

      Aims, contents and method of the course

      Solidification of basics in chemistry which have been taught in the lecture "Allgemeine Chemie A". Professional and didactical reflexing, educational relevance and realization in class. Reflexing of pre- and misconceptions to basics of chemistry.

      Assessment and permitted materials

      Active participation and presence. Absence at only on unit will be accepted.
      Written reflexing of the first course, team presentations and handouts, final report (max. 3-4 pages, Arial 11, line spacing 1,5) to a allotted topic of the seminar.

      Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

      Goals and topics described above are closely connected with the requirements, see above. The presentation has to be given, Handouts and final report have to be submitted. For an overall positive mark the final paper has to be graded positively.

      Examination topics

      Single- and Teamwork, participation, handouts, presentations, final report.
      There is no written or oral exam.
