One lecture and one exercise per week.

Assessment and permitted materials

Several multiple choice tests, one written exam, and weekly open book homeworks. The tutors can request that you present your homework solution on the blackboard every week.

All kinds of external material and plagiarism are prohibited during the exam.

Theoretical chemistry

The evaluation is based on the ratio of scores in the exam, the multiple choice tests, and the open book homework tasks.
1 > 90 %
2 > 80 %
3 > 65 %
4 >= 50 %
5 < 50 %

Compulsory attendance in the lecture (70%) and in the exercise (2 unexcused absences are permitted, beyond that only for an important reason (e.g. illness), with confirmation). You are only considered to be present if you are actually present for at least 90% of the session.

At least 3 points must be achieved in the exercise for a positive grade.
