Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Determination of conformations and transfers between conformations; measuring of molecular diffusion, determination of host-guest interactions and corresponding dissociation equilibria; analysis of protein-ligand interactions; in situ determination of reactions and reaction kinetics; online determination of reaction mechanisms. NMR-techniques are presented on the basis of concrete examples from Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. Mainly small organic molecules, proteins, and saccharides are used as model compounds. Selected measurements and interpretations are performed on the NMR-Spectrometers of the Institute of Organic Chemistry.
Assessment and permitted materials
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Introduction into NMR-spectroscopic methods to investigate molecular dynamic, binding, reaction kinetic, and mechanisms on the basis of selected examples.
