Aims, contents and method of the course
Content: Theory of atomic spectrometry: atomic emission (AES), atomic absorption (AAS), sample introduction systems (solid, liquid, gaseous), excitation sources (plasma, flame, ETV, laser, spark, arc), spectrometers (types, function), optical basics, theoretical parameters (resolution, dispersion, limits of determination, limits of detection, measuring statistics), interferences (spectral and non-spectral), application, selection of methods.
