Aims, contents and method of the course
Microfluidics is the miniaturization of sample volumes, sample amounts, flow rates accompanying an automation of sometimes quite complex reaction series. As a consequence, sensitivity, reliability and cost effectiveness of many analytical essays can be substantially improved. Actual "lab on a chip" systems will be presented in addition to an outlook to actual research challenges and activities in this field.
