Introduction: 1. Crystallographic space groups - repetition; 2. Representations of space groups - repetition; Transformations in crystallography-program SPLIT, Introduction to the symmetry analysis method, Program MODY - description, Program MODY - introduction to use, Displacement type structural phase transitions - use of symmetry analysis method for calculation of new structure types allowed by initial phase symmetry. Examples; Order - disorder type structural phase transitions - use of symmetry analysis method for calculation of new structure types allowed by initial phase symmetry. Examples; Magnetic phase transitions - use of symmetry analysis method for calculation of new structure types allowed by initial phase symmetry.
