Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The public recognition of relevant films and publications ( eg the reports of the European Environment Agency) in the field of environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology shall be reviewed. Films and texts are jointly watched/read and discussed afterwards. The critical examination of the media shall enhance the understanding of the consumer and lead to a deeper recognition of relevant questions in these particular fields of research.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
minimal requirements:
Attendance in the first unit is compulsory.
Attendance of 85% of the seminars must be fulfilled, which equals one unit of absence.
Evaluation:
Participation in the discussion and quality of the written essay.
