Aims, contents and method of the course

Learning goal: Perfection of the practical capabilities in the synthesis of metalorganic and elementorganic compounds and their application.

The student participates in research projects of the respective research groups of the departments with emphasis on organometallic and elementorganic chemistry.
Projects open for participation are announced in internet http://homepage.univie.ac.at/daniel.krois/wbsp1.html

The course is performed at the Department of Organic Chemistry and Department of Chemical Catalysis;
Time table of projects is individually fixed with the project leader, duration of practical work 3 weeks, 6-8 h daily, then an experimental protocol must be provided and a 20 min seminar talk must be held
