Aims, contents and method of the course

learning goal: Advanced practical capabilities in modern synthetic bioorganic chemistry

The student participates in research projects of the respective research groups of the departments with emphasis on synthetic organic methods for biological research.

The course is performed at the Department of Organic Chemistry and the Department of Chemical Catalysis
Time table of projects is individually fixed with the project leader, duration of practical work 3 weeks, 6-8 h daily, then an experimental protocol must be provided and a 20 min seminar talk must be held

Assessment and permitted materials

Assessment: (IP): practical performance and literature search, protocol and seminar talk (within the Organisch-chemisches Fortgeschrittenenseminar)
