Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The student participates in research projects of the respective research groups of the departments with emphasis on investigation of reaction mechanisms and structure - function relationships.
Projects open for participation are announced in internet http://homepage.univie.ac.at/daniel.krois/wbsp1.html

The course is performed at the Department of Organic Chemistry and the Department of Chemical Catalysis.
Time table of projects is individually fixed with the project leader, duration of practical work 3 weeks, then an experimental protocol must be provided and a 20 min seminar talk must be held

Learning goal: Synthesis of model compounds, learning of practical methods for investigation of reaction mechanisms and structure-function relationships
