Aims, contents and method of the course

The student paticipates in research projects of the respective research groups of the institute with emphasis on spectroscopic and mass spectrometric methods in structural analysis .
Projects open for participation are announced at the board near room 1107 (Waehringer Str. 38, 1st floor) or in internet http://homepage.univie.ac.at/daniel.krois/wbsp1.html

Time table of projects is either individually fixed with the project leader or is announced, duration of practical work 3 weeks, then an experimental protocol must be provided and a 20 min seminar talk must be held. Alternatively a fixed course may be announced.
Assessment: (IP): practical performance, protocol and seminar talk or written test
