Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Assessment based on practical work and written protocols, final examination.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Environmental problems and solutions.
Examination topics
Environmental sampling methodology. Field measurements of environmental parameters. Water analyses: flame-AAS, TOC-TN measurements, photometric methods (cations and anions), wet chemical analyses for oxygen content and acid-binding-capacity, ion-chromatography.Practical laboratory work is combined with seminars and discussion groups.
