Aims, contents and method of the course

This seminar is obligatory to finish the Bachelor Module. To attend the seminar, the preparatory meeting (see above) is highly recommended.
Content of the seminar: Presentation and discussion of the results of the Bachelor theses; the seminars are scheduled for June and September 2023.

Q: The registration deadline is at the end of the semester, when should I register?
A: As early as possible.

Q: There is also a Practical Course for Bachelor Module of Chemistry Teacher Training, do I have to attend it?
A: Actually, you have to have completed it in order to be able to give a talk on the work done there in this seminar (LV 270139). The primary goal of this seminar is exactly this talk. No work, no talk.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Positively evaluated oral presentation, active discussion, and attendance of a sufficient number of presentations:
Presentation: max. 32 points (slide quality, oral presentation quality, comprehensibility of contents)
Discussion: max. 8 points; contributions are graded as 0 or 3 points with respect to the quality of the contribution
Attendance of min. 10 presentations from this seminar or from the bachelor seminar for chemistry students.
minimum criterion for pass: attendance of 10 presentations and 20 points

Gut: 28-32.999
Befriedigend: 24 - 27.999
Genügend (pass): 20 - 23.999
