Aims, contents and method of the course

Implementing mathematical methods of quantum chemical problems on High Performance Computers. 1. Basic linear Algebra - Matrices and vectors 2. Eigenvalue problems 3. Partial differential equations 4. Modern computer architectures (clusters, GPU computing) 5. Using mathematical libraries on high performance computers.

Goal: Gain basic knowledge of numerical mathematical problems occurring in quantum chemistry. Implementation on modern computer architectures (clusters, GPU computing) using modern programming libraries.
