    Information

    Aims, contents and method of the course

    In the accompanying course for the "Schulpraxis", students deal with their tasks and activities in school practice in a preparatory and reflective manner. They expand and consolidate their skills in the areas of observation, planning, implementation and reflection of chemistry lessons. The aim of the seminar is to acquire subject-related planning and analysis skills. To achieve this goal, the use of various methods - including chemistry-specific methods such as student experiments - and media in the classroom will be discussed. Students will also learn about ways of documenting and reflecting on lessons and will be supported in creating a portfolio of school practice.

    Assessment and permitted materials

    In addition to regular and active participation, students will be involved in the documentation and planning of lessons.
    The performance consists of:
    * processing and reflection on a context from the field of digital media (20%)
    * Written planning and reflection of a teaching unit (50%)
    * final discussion (30%)

    Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

    * continuous attendance and active participation at the attendance dates
    * timely completion of all the above-mentioned individual tasks
    * Positive assessment of the "Planning and reflection of a teaching unit"

    Note from the Studienpräses: If a partial performance within a course immanent to the examination is cheated (e.g. copying, use of unauthorized aids, "plagiarism" etc.), the entire course is to be considered cheated and results in the grade X ("erschlichene Leistung").
