Aims, contents and method of the course

The pratical course enables an insight into the methods of instrumental analytics. Students learn how to perform analytical sample preparation with hands-on experience for high-end instrumentation such as high resolution mass spectrometry (ESI-Orbitrap-MS), ultra high pressure liquid chromatography (UHPLC). This course is the unique opportunity to work in a clean- room sourrounding and experience data evaluation pipelines currently used in research and industry.

Assessment and permitted materials

Protocol including introduction (literature search), applied methods, results and references (10-20 pages). The protocol is used to excerise writting of a masterthesis
