Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Introduction to radiochemistry with emphasis of the history of nuclear science, structure of the nucleus, radioactive decay, natural and artificial radioactivity, radioactive equilibrium, decay chains, radiation effects, detection and quantitative measurement of a- and ß-particles and ?-radiation, fission, nuclear reactors, various dating methods, neutron activation analysis, tracer techniques.
