Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The lecture "Enzyme - Mechanismen und Anwendung" will give an overview on the classification, application and investigation of enzymes. After a short introduction on the basic principles of enzyme catalysis and the different catagories od enzymes, their use in organic synthesis will be discussed. This will be followed by methods to elucidate enzyme mechanisms based on current research projects.
