The students are able to perform synthetic methods for the preparation of biologically relevant compounds on an advanced level. They have the ability to use more sophisticated laboratory equipment and reagents and thus can synthesize chemical tools for biological research.

Synthetical experiments are executed, which are suited to learn advanced synthetic organic-chemical methods. Furthermore the experiments will prepare students for the standards in biological - chemical research.The course will be held at the department of organic chemistry both in winter and summer term.
