Aims, contents and method of the course
environmental samples, as e.g. soils, sediments, bones and water samples will be analysed with regard to natural and anthropogenic radionuclides. Modern separation methods will be used and the students will get practice in producing thin alpha-sources. a- and ß-emitters as well as gamma-emitters will be measured quantitatively and the results will be validated with respect to its significance for radiation protection.

A Radiochemie I certificate is pre-requisite!!!
