Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
It is expected that the students prepare the experiments by studying the literature defined by the supervisor. The working time in the laboratory is 3 weeks (120 h). A comprehensive data analysis with estimation of errors/data reliability/data quality is expected and a lab report in the format of a short journal article has to be delivered within 2 weeks after finishing the practical part.Preparation is weighted 10%, laboratory work 30%, data analysis 25% and report 35%. If no literature for preparation was provided the other aspects are scaled accordingly.Minimum requirement is thorough conduction of the experiments according to the laboratory regulations and a satisfying laboratory report.
Examination topics
literature for preparation (if applies), hand-on laboratory experience, written report
Reading list
Will be provided by the supervisor when defining the individual experiment.
