Aims, contents and method of the course

This seminar aims at supporting students in learning the physicochemical fundaments of the lecture "General Chemistry A" in a way that promotes (microscopic) understanding rather than learning by heart. It will take place in smaller groups.

Assessment and permitted materials

Joint work and participation in discussions. No detailed grades will be given (i.e. beyond "pass/fail")

Examination topics

Physicochemical part of the lecture "General Chemistry A". Especially gas laws, equilibrium/thermodynamics, and electrochemistry.
