Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Studierenden wissen über die Prozesse der Fossileinbettung, der Fossildiagenese und der Bildung von Fossillagerstätten Bescheid. Sie kennen die Verbreitung von Tier- und Pflanzen-gruppen in der erdgeschichtlichen Vergangenheit. Sie haben grundlegende Kenntnisse in den Methoden der Paläoökologie und kennen den paläoökologischen Kontext von makroevolutionären Veränderungen in der Geschichte des Lebens. Sie kennen die Methoden der Paläobiogeographie und sind mit den geologischen Ursachen für die Verbreitung der Tiere und Pflanzen vertraut.

Positiver Abschluss der Lehrveranstaltung in Form schriftlicher Leistungskontrolle in Präsenz

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

50% Punkte-Minimum für einen positiven Abschluß
