Aims, contents and method of the course

Modulziele: Die Studierenden können die wichtigsten Grundlagen, Regeln, Methoden und Anwendungen der Stratigraphie benennen und erklären. Die Studierenden sind in der Lage, einen Überblick über die Erdgeschichte zu geben und haben Kenntnisse über die Paläokontinentanordnung und Events. Diese Kompetenzen wurden an Hand von Demonstrationsmaterial und Karten erworben.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

>50% Anwesenheit (10 Punkte), gesamt positive Teilleistungen > 50 Punkte (1. Teilleistung schriftlich = 30 Punkte, 2., 3., 4. Teilleistung mündlich jeweils 20 Punkte)

Examination topics

Methoden der Stratigraphie (1. Teiltest schriftlich), Übungen an Gesteinsbeispielen und geologischen Karten (mündliche Prüfungen)
