Aims, contents and method of the course

Basics in fossil and recent mikropaleontological organism groups: Introduction to morphology, systematic, ecology and stratigraphy of benthic calcareous algae, coccoliths, diatoms, dinoflagellats, acritarchs, radiolarians, foraminifers, ostracods, conodonts and other small groups. (exercises)

praktische Kenntnis der im NPI-Teil des Moduls vorgetragenen Mikrofossilgruppen,
der relevanten stratigraphischen Leitformen und die Fähigkeit der Zordnung von Sediment(-gesteinen) zu zeitlich-faziellen Ablagerungsräumen.
