- Depending of the number of students (around the 20/01): will be precised on the first lecture (40%)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Modulziele: Die Studierenden haben grundlegende Kenntnisse der Umweltgeochemie stabiler Isotope. Sie können aufzeigen welche stabilen Isotopensysteme in den Umweltgeowissenschaften genutzt werden und kennen insbesondere die Anwendung 'nicht-traditioneller' Isotopensysteme. Sie kennen die eingesetzten massenspektrometrischen Verfahren und können Beobachtungen der Fraktionierung stabiler Isotope zur umweltgeochemischen und biogeochemischen Prozessaufklärung nutzen. Die Studierenden können quantitative Methoden zur Modellierung dieser Prozesse und der resultierenden Isotopenfraktionierung in komplexen Systemen einsetzen.
