Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Studienziele (W0_28) (NPI + PI): Die Studierenden kennen Tracermethoden für umweltrelevante, speziell hydrologische und hydrogeologische Untersuchungen. Sie verfügen Kenntnisse über die Anwendungsmöglichkeiten von H-, He-, C- und O-Isotopen, sowie Sulfurhaxafluorid (SF6), Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) und anderen künstlichen Tracern für die Bearbeitung von hydrogeologischen Problemen. Die Studierenden können das Verhalten der Isotope im hydrologischen System. Sie sind ferner in der Lage die Aussagemöglichkeiten von Umweltisotopen für wasserrechtliche Entscheidungen abzuschätzen. Sie sind mit komponentenspezifischen Isotopensystemen (vorwiegend Kohlenstoff- und Stickstofisotope), insbesondere zur forensischen Verwendung sowie zur Klärung von Abbau- und Herkunftsfragen vertraut.
