Aims, contents and method of the course

The habitability of Earths and Super-Earths (first discovered in 2007) will be discussed in this lecture. Mainly the astrophysical point of view (the stellar luminosity and its influence, the planet\\\'s mass and its composition, the long-term orbital stability) will be analyzed.
