Aims, contents and method of the course

ECTS: 3 credit points
Meteorological measurement instruments: From standard methods ("in situ") to remote sensing. The introductory lesson provides an overview of measurement fundamentals. The main part examines meteorological measurements of temperature, heat flow, radiation, humidity, wind, and pressure. The explanation of some remote sensing methods including data acquisition concepts complete this course.
