Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The occurrence of economically important and genetically interesting ore mineral deposits will be discussed on a genetic basis. Polished ore sections will be presented.
Basic requirement for participate the VU is the positive rating of the LV "Einführung in dir Erzmineralogie".

Selbständige Bestimmung des Erzmineralinhaltes von zwei Anschliffen

Reading list

In addition to an oral examination of the lecture, two polished sections of ore minerals from discussed mineral deposits have to be determined. Professional and self-prepared Tables for ore mineral determination can be used
