Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Studierenden kennen die an der Universität Wien aktuell verfolgten und im internationalen Kontext bedeutendsten Forschungsthemen in den Fachgebieten Geologie, Angewandte Geowissenschaften, Mineralogie und Geomaterialien sowie Paläobiologie und Geobiologie. Die Studierenden sind in der Lage, die wesentlichen Fragestellungen, Ziele, Inhalte und die bisherigen Ergebnisse wiederzugeben und die aktuellen Forschungskonzepte zu erklären. Sie sind darauf vorbereitet, fundiert ein dem jeweiligen persönlichen Interesse entsprechendes wissenschaftliches Arbeitsthema für die eigene Masterarbeit auszuwählen.
