Aims, contents and method of the course

ECTS: 4 credit points
In this seminar methods for the assessment of the upper air climate state and its change from tropospheric and stratospheric datasets will be discussed using relevant articles from the international literature.
The main focus will be the assessment of temperature, humidity and wind during the last 50 years and the temporal homogeneity of the available datasets.
