Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of this lecture is to show the cross-linking between natural sciences and humanities using the example of geoarchaeology and the current Anthropocene discussion. Differences and commonalities concerning way of thinking, methods, communication and sources are illustrated and discussed. One of the emphases of the lecture is to highlight the dynamic interaction between human and environment.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written test using single/multiple choice and interrogative sentences.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Minimum requirement is accomplishing more than 50 % of the achievable scores.
