Teilnahmewillige Personen setzen sich vorab mit dem Betreuer in Verbindung, um ein geeignetes Forschungsprjekt zu finden. LV-Betreuungsperson und zukünftige Betreuerin / zukünftiger Betreuer der Masterarbeit müssen nicht zwingend identisch sein; dies ist allerdings sehrwohl möglich.Die erfolgreiche Durchführung des Forschungsvorhabens ist durch Anfertigung eines (ca. drei Seiten umfassenden) Berichts im Stil einer sehr kurzen Publikation nachzuweisen. Hierfür geforderte Inhalte und weitere Details werden zu Beginn der Bearbeitung des Forschungsprojekts mit der Betreuerin / dem Betreuer individuell besprochen und geklärt. Der Bericht muss bis spätestens Mittwoch den 12.02.2025 abgegeben werden. Ein davon abweichender Abgabetermin ist mit dem zuständigen Betreuer im Vorfeld zu vereinbaren.

Hierfür geforderte Inhalte und weitere Details werden zu Beginn der Bearbeitung der Projektarbeit mit dem Betreuer individuell besprochen und geklärt, sowie der Abgabetermin vereinbart. Nach Anmeldung zur LV wird erbeten sich mit dem Betreuer per email in Verbindung zu setzen (ronald.miletich-pawliczek@univie.ac.at).

Die Anmeldung zur LV setzt voraus, dass die teilnahmewillige Person vorab eine Betreuerin / einen Betreuer für das Forschungsprojekt aus dem Kreis der im Vorlesungsverzeichnis als "Lehrende" ausgewiesenen Personen findet. LV-Betreuungsperson und zukünftige Betreuerin / zukünftiger Betreuer der Masterarbeit müssen nicht zwingend identisch sein; dies ist allerdings sehrwohl möglich. Unmittelbar nach online-Anmeldung zur LV muss von der Studentin / vom Studenten dem LV-Leiter (im WS 2023-24 lutz.nasdala@univie.ac.at) die Betreuungsperson per E-Mail - bitte mit offenem cc: an die Betreuungsperson - mitgeteilt werden. Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Die Studentinnen und Studenten sind im Rahmen der aktuellen Forschung in Mineralogie, Geomaterialien und Angewandte Erdwissenschaften in der Lage, ein auf die Masterarbeit hinführendes kleines Forschungsvorhaben zu planen und umzusetzen. Hierbei kann es sich sowohl um ein von der zukünftigen Masterarbeit inhaltlich unabhängiges Forschungsvorhaben handeln, oder aber auch um einen zukünftigen Bestandteil der Masterarbeit.Die Planung und Umsetzung dieses Vorhabens können das Erfassen des Stands der Forschung, die Formulierung testbarer Hypothesen, die Anwendung analytischer und statistischer Methoden auf neue Fragestellungen, die Strukturierung der notwendigen Arbeiten (Gelände, Labor, Modellierung) sowie die Darstellung und Interpretation der Ergebnisse beinhalten.

Die Bewertung des Berichtes wird durch die jeweilige Betreuerin / den jeweiligen Betreuer vorgenommen.
