Information on the seminar are given during the first lecture "Introduction in Environmental Biology": Room 2C193, 16:15 (see 280213) on Wed, 07 October 2015

The seminar will be held in the form of an Excursion to the Seewinkel National Park (Neusiedlersee, Burgenland) on 10 October 2015. Meeting point is 8:00 at the Boku University, 1180 Peter Jordan Straße 82.

Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar will be held in the form of an Excursion to the Seewinkel National Park (Neusiedlersee, Burgenland). Students are introduced into the geography, climate, geology, soil development, the unique flora, and management issues in this specific type of landscape (Puszta) in the national Park.

Assessment and permitted materials

Excursion report synthesizing the gained knowledge on the interaction of climate, soils, flora and management in the Seewinkel region.
