Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The student will learn about surface properties, analytical techniques for analyzing surfaces, sorption behaviour, and the mechanisms controling processes taking place at environmental surfaces, including adsorption, dissolution and precipitations

Assessment and permitted materials

Students will be evaluated by three written short tests (on the 4th of April, 16th of May and 13th of June), each accounting for 20%, and a take home assignment accounting for 40%.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students require at least 50% of the total amount of points they can earn with the short test and the assignment to pass the course.
