This course will be held as block course between 23 and 27 July. The course will be from 9 to 16h on every day - part of the afternoon will be devoted to independent study. First lecture will start on Monday 23. at 9h, there is no preliminary meeting before the 23rd of July

Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The student will learn about surface properties, analytical techniques for analyzing surfaces, sorption behaviour, and the mechanisms controling processes taking place at environmental surfaces, including adsorption, dissolution and precipitations
Assessment and permitted materials
Students will be evaluated by three written short tests, each accounting for 25%, and an in-class exercise accounting for 25%.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students require at least 50% of the total amount of points they can earn with the short test and the assignment to pass the course.
