The course will cover regional and global cover aspects related to water reuse. The following topics will be discussed: 1. Climate change and water scarcity due to decrease in natural water resources; population growth and industrialization; pollution and climate change. 2. Conventional and non-conventional water resources. 3.
Wastewater treatment: advantages and limitations. 4. Water use efficiency in the Agricultural sectors and the presence of contaminants of emerging concern in the water-soil-plant continuum.Students will ask to read the relevant literature and present their thoughts and ideas in the class.
