Aims, contents and method of the course

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course will cover regional and global cover aspects related to water reuse. The following topics will be discussed: 1. Climate change and water scarcity due to decrease in natural water resources; population growth and industrialization; pollution and climate change. 2. Conventional and non-conventional water resources. 3.
Wastewater treatment: advantages and limitations. 4. Water use efficiency in the Agricultural sectors and the presence of contaminants of emerging concern in the water-soil-plant continuum.

Students will ask to read the relevant literature and present their thoughts and ideas in the class.

Assessment and permitted materials

Presentation and short report.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

50% presentation and 50% report
