Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This is a required course in the Master of Environmental Science curriculum. In order to successfully complete the course requirements, all enrolled students have to give a presentation focusing on their master thesis.

Assessment and permitted materials

A presentation needs to be prepared that approximately lasts 20 min (+ 10 min question/discussion) . It focuses on the master thesis of the student, whatever the advancement of the work (including the planning stage of the work). Students send in the presentation slides (pdf format)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The mark will concern the presentation (45%), the slides (40%) and the discussion (15 %). Please send the presentation files to akos.weiser@univie.ac.at at the day of the presentation.

Examination topics

The presentation focuses on the master thesis of the student, whatever the advancement of the work (including the planning stage of the work).
