2 written tests, homework, blackboard presentation

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

There will be 2 written tests, and 11 problem sets as homework.
Each week, there will be one problem set, where up to 4 points can be achieved. Additionally, a good presentation of a problem on the blackboard can give 4 points (2 points for each presentation). The tutor has the right to demand a presentation of any exercise that was handed in.
24 points are necessary to pass the course.

The final mark is based on the cumulative result of two written tests (90min each). Each test is worth 24 points, giving 48 in total. Missing a test due to illness has to be proven with a doctor's certificate.
The marking scheme is as follows:
1 - at least 42
2 - at least 36
3 - at least 30
4 - at least 24
5 - less than 24
