Theoretical fundamentals of the planetary boundary layer, equations of motions, kinetic energy of a turbulent flow, structure of the planetary boundary layer (Prandtl and Ekman layer), wind and temperature profiles, and equation of diffusion.
Acquisition of skills on boundary layer meteorology, micro-meteorology and dispersion of substances in the atmosphere as well as knowledge in the technical terminology. Competence to distinguish between features of the planetary boundary layer and the free atmosphere.
