Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Studierenden erwerben grundlegende Kenntnisse der Wolken- und Niederschlagsbildung und verstehen den Zusammenhang zwischen Wolken, Wetter und Klima.

Die Inhalte umfassen unter anderem:
Wachstumsprozesse von Wolkentröpfchen und -eiskristallen, Mikrophysik, Niederschlagsbildung, Makroskalige Wolkendynamik,
Strahlungswechselwirkungen von Wolken, Einfluss von Aerosolen auf Wolken

Written examination

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Grade 5: < 50%
Grade 4: 50-62,5%
Grade 3: 62,5-75%
Grade 2: 75-87,5%
Grade 1: 87.5%

Up to 10 bonus percentage points can be earned by preparing a written summary of one lecture session. More detailed explanations can be found in the 1st lecture.
