Aims, contents and method of the course

Das Modul Atmosphärische Datenanalyse (NPI und PI) behandelt fortgeschrittene Verfahren der atmospärischen Datenanalyse:
- Zustandsraummodelle
- Kalmanfilter
- Variationelle Analyseverfahren
- Das Vorwärts- und das Retrievalproblem
- Analyse von Fernerkundungsdaten
- Principal component analyses und Datenrekonstruktionsverfahren.
Lern/Qualifikationsziele: Verständnis und Beherrschung moderner Datenassimilationsverfahren, die an Wetter- und Klimavorhersagezentren angewandt werden.
