Aims, contents and method of the course
Students acquire knowledge about basic astronomical terms and methods. Students are familiar with the main historical origins of the current astronomical worldview.The content includes: History of Astronomy, Telescopes and Instruments, Timekeeping and Calendars, Coordinate Systems, Distances, Astronomical and Astrophysical Fundamentals.
