Aims, contents and method of the course

Theory and application of modern potential field interpretation techniques are discussed and demonstrated by discussing synthetic and real case studies:
- field transformation and filtering (gradient, potential, upWard and downward field continuation, pseudomagnetic and pseudogravimetric fields, magnetic components, reduction to the pole, analytic signal)
- field continuation between arbitrary surfaces, equivalent source techniques
- density deconvolution, Euler decomvolution
