Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
1.) 2 partial tests mid and end of semester. (as alternative one overall test in the end) on the lecture content.
The test are written exams. Each test is divided into 2 group each exam lasts 90 minutes. More details will be announced. The use of a pocket calculator is allowed.
Each test consists of 2 parts:
- Multiple choice: each question has 4 answers where one or two are correct. Each question is worth 1 point, in the case of 2 correct answers, each answer is worth 0.5 points. A wrong answer results in 0 points for the question.
- Calculations: each question is worth 3 points. A collection of equations used in the lecture will be provided2.) Evaluation of the performance during the exercises (practical examples, exercise sheets, participation dzuring exercises)

- 60% lecture part (2 partial tests or overall test)
- 40% exercises (evaluation of uploaded exercise sheets, active participation during exercises)Grading scale:
87% - 100%: sehr gut
75% - 86,99%: gut
63% - 74,99%: befriedigend
50% - 62,99%: genügend
<50%: nicht genügend
